The Biowave microwave treatment unit was loaded onto flat bed trailer the night before at EMCA’s facilities in Cootehill, Co.Cavan. After over 2 years of design and build, the system was ready to be delivered to site to be integrated with the pilot Anaerobic Digester. The container departs for Ashleigh Farms, Co. Waterford at 5.30am the next morning
Meanwhile back on site at Ashleigh Farms, the final tasks are completed and the plant is ready for the Biowave unit to arrive.
At 10.15am the next morning the Biowave container arrives safely in Ballinameela, Co.Waterford.
Shortly after the container is lifted by crane into its position on site.
Just after 1pm the Biowave container is in situ. Positioned for optimum integration with the Anaerobic Digester and ready for installation and commissioning. This was a huge milestone for the project team and an outstanding build and delivery job by EMCA.
